My approach is empathetic, straightforward, nonjudgmental, and primarily talk-based. I emphasize client strengths from a positive, wellness perspective. As a Ph.D.-level practitioner, I bring an additional four years of rigorous study, research, and supervision in the nationally recognized counseling program of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have additional professional experience as a Professor of Counseling & College Student Affairs, and in pastoral ministry, with a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University.
I take pride in offering my clients a quality therapeutic relationship with personal service. The longer I work with you, the better I understand your unique self—and the more effective I can be in helping you reach your goals. Yes, quality Counseling and Coaching can be a financial investment. It's an investment I made in myself as a client years ago and I can attest to the value of that experience. I hope you'll value yourself enough to Invest in You—whether in my practice or another.
