A Unique Approach
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to meeting families where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and logistically. I blend traditional therapy with flexible, real-world support, including in-home and community-based sessions that bring care directly into your daily life. Whether working with young children, teens, or caregivers, my approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based methods, and a deep belief that healing happens best when it feels human and practical.
Standard Sessions
Therapy works best when it feels like a safe landing place — a space where you can show up fully as yourself, even on the hard days. Standard sessions offer just that: a consistent, grounded setting to explore what’s going on in your life, build emotional insight, and develop skills to cope with whatever’s next.
These sessions are ideal for adults, teens, and children over the age of five who are able to attend on their own. Depending on your needs and preferences, our time together might include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, or play and art-based approaches for younger clients. In-person sessions are preferred, but virtual appointments may be available when appropriate.
Initial sessions are 90 minutes and cost $125. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and cost $100. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available — I’m happy to talk more about what works best for your budget.
Home and Community-Based Sessions
Sometimes the most important moments for growth happen outside the therapy office—in the everyday spaces where your family lives, plays, and connects. I’m deeply passionate about offering home and community-based sessions because they allow us to work together in real time, right where challenges arise. This hands-on approach helps bridge the gap between insight and action, making change feel more natural and lasting.
These sessions are designed for families who want practical, in-the-moment support with behavior, communication, and connection. A parent or caregiver must be present and actively involved throughout every session, as this work is about strengthening relationships and building skills together. Whether it’s coaching during a tricky transition or modeling ways to respond calmly, we’ll focus on what your family needs most.
Sessions are typically 90 minutes and start at $250, offered within Orleans, Genesee, and Monroe Counties. This service is offered selectively to ensure it’s the right fit for your family, so please reach out to discuss your unique situation.
Support for Families with Young Children
Though it’s not common practice to offer therapy for children under five, I recognize how important these early years are for laying the foundation of emotional health and behavior. These sessions focus on teaching parents and caregivers how to support their little ones in understanding feelings, managing behavior, and reducing stress and chaos at home.
Offered in-office or in the home when appropriate, these sessions always involve the parent or caregiver’s active participation. Together, we’ll work on strengthening your relationship and building practical skills that set your child—and your family—up for greater calm and connection.
Sessions are 50 minutes and start at $125, with some sliding scale availability.
